And Another Story....

Advaitam which is the most celebrated techno - cultural fest  of NIT Agartala,  has been a massive kind event for me , the last to last is the kindest!! There was " a guy who flew right from my dreams " that is the exact expression which mostly every one  here would definitely try to say but in my  case he was  just a senior whom I had come to know during Advaitam 2.0 . Many mutual friends lead to some acquaintance. We met , I developed a crush later but decided to stick to the stereotype of not confessing my feelings since I am girl , basically I didnt want to make myself seem like a fool when he would say "I think of u as a friend " .So I buried my feelings until my friends started digging those out and made me write a confession to him in the game " NITA confessions " which was held as tech-fun event  during the fest season. Well they made a promise to me  of keeping my identity as anonymous but you know that when there is  an assuring confident look in maximum of your friends , you should understand the stew they are cooking ! And I was carried away by their innocence and trusted them.  On the other side , I chatted with him ... long and late chattings , starting from music to fighting between  deadpool and batman. And this things continued for sometime until one day,

He : I wanted to watch  Revenant but none of my friends are going to watch with me in the movie hall 😭

Me(pretty much sure he doesnt mean anything) :  are..  u ask your other friends may be u havent asked everyone properly

He : ok fine...let me ask you.. will u come ?

Me , immediately opening the group chat I had with my friends : he asked me for a movie!😅
All of them were online and each of them were saying : You should go!!

Me( to him) : okay fine. ..  when?? 

He : Monday?

I mentally calculated how free I am  and decided to bunk my class and said : Okay cool 😬😬

Later on the day of the movie we watched it and enjoyed but I was having the hint may be he is just looking up to me as "the junior who is great person to hang out with" and so basically with all the least hope I decided to not to talk about today with anyone even with him . But that evening as normal conversation was going with him in one such social networking site,  a message suddenly popped out ..
He: so was it like our first date?

This was somehow overlooked by me and I am telling you am not at all being dramatic but all I saw was his next message 
He :I hope your friends do not know about the movie 😬
This made me think he doesn't want anyone to know about us going to  the movie so I  replied to him :No no one knows .
And silently kept my phone aside and got busy with something else
Again my phone beeped!

He: You didn't reply my question!

Me : what question?🤔

He: So was it like our first date??

Immediately conference call to my friends "yaar usne mujhe yeh bola,  ab main kya bolu ..😶😶"(nervous voice!)
Gaining some confidence after 10 mins I replied 
Me: That depends on whether we are dating or not!
He : Are we?
Me :What do you think? 
He: Do you want me to think we are dating?
Me(taking every step with deep thoughts, determined not to confess): Do you want me to think that you think that it was our first date?!

He : yes I think it was 😀
Me : Well then i guess  it was!

And rest became history though my assumption about "me not taking the first step" was wrong as I came to know that he actually got my confession!

So this is how Nita gave me "the guy" who actually did manage to come from my dreams !😁
